If it were not for my former students, Barry Harris, Josh Goldberg, Lara Johnston and others, I would not have imagined this ¥"fan-funding¥" campaign world existed. It takes new thinking, a different kind of diligence, the responsibility for the twists and turns of pushing your goods. When it¥"s over, I shall ponder a few things, among them what we missed doing in order to attract even more radiance to the campaign ... and how grateful I am to know that we got as far as we did.
