「米、朝鮮戦争直前のころ同様に韓国重視せず」
アジア・パシフィック・イニシアティブの船橋洋一理事長（74）は、今年の国際情勢で最も注目すべき出来事に、米国でトランプ大統領にどんなことが起こるのかを挙げた。
船橋理事長は昨年12月26日、本紙とのインタビューで、「トランプ大統領の『ロシア疑惑』捜査がどのようになるかが、北朝鮮問題をはじめとする世界の政治・経済・貿易に少なからぬ影響を与えることになるだろう」と予想した。また、米国が6・25戦争（朝鮮戦争）直前のころのように、「韓国は重要でない」という従来の見解に回帰し、韓米同盟を解消しようとしている動きに備えるべきだ、と助言した。
