【싱가폴 지국】프랑스 통신(AFP)에 의하면, 환경보호를 표방()하는 미 단체 「시·shepherd(SS)」에 의한 조사 포경 방해 사건으로 토쿄 지방 법원의 집행 유예 첨부의 유죄판결을 받아 강제 퇴거 처분이 된 SS항의선의 피터·베슨 모선장(45)이 10일, 모국 뉴질랜드에 귀국, 향후도 반포경 활동을 계속할 생각을 분명히 했다.
공판으로 베슨 모선장은,.남극해에서의 방해 활동에 참가하지 않을 의사를 표명, 그것이 집행 유예의 이유의 하나가 되었다.그러나, 이 날은 기자단에게「일본의 포경을 그만두게 하는 것을 포기할 것은 없다」등과 강조.다시 항의선에 탑승할지 어떨지는 명언하지 않기는 했지만, 「다음에 무엇을 하는지, 여러명과 이야기를 하지 않으면 안 된다」라고 말해 SS간부들과 향후의 활동에 대해 서로 이야기하는 자세를 나타냈다.
방해 활동에 참가하지 않는다는 베슨 모선장의 발언에 대해 SS대표 폴·왓슨 용의자(59)=국제 지명 수배중=는, 공판 후, 「단순한 법정 전술이다」라고 말하고 있었다.

Yeah, there"s probaby some Nippon Professional Baseball fan that"s sitting at home right now and complaining that Akamatsu"s UZR really isn"t all that special, but I can"t stop replaying this grab. I mean, it"s as if Gary Matthews Jr."s famous catch and that viral video of the wall-climbing ball girl had a baby.
