On the ground level there is a common pool in a separate building that was critical damaged by the tsunami. Each reactor building pool holds 3450 fuel rod assemblies and the common pool holds 6291 fuel rod assemblies. Each assembly holds sixty-three fuel rods. In short, the Fukushima Daiichi plant contains over 600000 spent fuel rods a massive amount of radiation that will soon be released into the atmosphere.

후쿠시마 原電에는 현재 廢 연료봉을 저장하기 위한 7개의 pool이 있는데, 6개의 각 발전기 빌딩 꼭대기에 6개의 seperate pool(個別用)이 있고, 땅바닥에 1개의 common pool(共用)이 있습니다.

각 rod assemblies에는 63개의 연료봉이 있습니다. 따라서,
