우치다, 챔스 8강 베스트11에 선정

Uchida, チェムス 8強ベスト11に選定 http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/07042011/58/champions-league-team-week-ace-adebayor.html Formation: 4-4-2 GK: Edwin van der Sar (Manchester United) - The ever-dependable veteran keeper put in a sterling performance in between the sticks at Stamford Bridge to keep Chelsea - and in particular Didier Drogba and Fernando Torres - at bay. His display served to highlight just how badly United will miss him when he¥"s gone at the end of the season. RB: Atsuto Uchida (Schalke) - Japan¥"s World Cup star defended stoutly when needed against Inter but also provided a reliable option down the right flank when going forward. The 23-year-old can even claim to have put in a much better display than his opposite number on the night, the far more celebrated Maicon. CB: Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United) - A contender for man-of-the-match at the Bridge, the importance of Ferdinand¥"s return to the centre of United¥"s defence cannot be underestimated. He may not have played since early February but the England stopper was rock solid back in his role alongside partner Nemanja Vidic. CB: Joel Matip (Schalke) - The 19-year-old defied his inexperience with a performance of some maturity at the Giuseppe Meazza, where he even popped up at the other end to draw his side level for the first time on the night. A bright prospect for the future. LB: Adriano (Barcelona) - The former Sevilla man was solid defensively but it is in the attacking third where he adds so much value for Barcelona. Linked up well with Andres Iniesta on the left as Barca routed Shakhtar at the Camp Nou. RM: Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) - What is there left to say about Ronaldo? Another fine performance was capped by another goal - his 71st in 78 matches since arriving in the Spanish capital - and few at the Bernabeu, or indeed anywhere else, could have begrudged him that. CM: Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid) - Another player to have made a seamless transition from England to Spain, Madrid¥"s leading midfielder was again imperious in the middle against Spurs, stroking the ball around with consummate ease and instigating numerous attacks from deep. CM: Andres Iniesta (Barcelona) - The midfield maestro celebrated becoming a father with a virtuoso display, scoring one and creating another goal in Barca¥"s romp against Shakhtar. Not even a silly booking that will keep him out of the second leg spoiled what was a fantastic performance. LM: Ryan Giggs (Manchester United) - The evergreen midfielder once again rolled back the years as his deft touch and subsequent vision teed up Wayne Rooney for his match-winning goal. When will Giggs¥"s influence begin to decline? Not any time soon if this match is anything to go by. FW: Emmanuel Adebayor (Real Madrid) - The third of four Madrid players with Premier League experience to make our team, Adebayor¥"s two-goal display against Spurs made a mockery of the criticism he has received - and must surely have given him satisfaction considering his Arsenal connections, despite what he says. FW: Raul (Schalke) - Much like Giggs, the striker simply refuses to fade away into the twilight of his career and after all these years he is still banging in the goals. His 72nd in all European competition came against Inter to crown another supreme display of forward play. A true legend of the Champions League. Eurosport
