　【서울 니시와키 신이치】미국 신문 워싱턴・포스트와 뉴욕・타임즈는 5일, 한국 정부의 편의를 받아 상륙 취재한 시마네현・타케시마(한국명・독도=드크트)의 르포를 게재했다.함께발신지를「독도／타케시마 」와 병기 해, 「한국이 행정 관리해, 일본이 영유권을 주장하고 있는 섬」(포스트지)와 소개,계쟁지의 취급으로 알렸다.영유권 문제는 존재하지 않는다고 하는 한국 국회에서는 이명박(이・몰바크) 정권에 대해「국제적으로 계쟁지와 인상지운 」와 비판의 소리도 오르고 있다.


　한국 정부는 서울 등에 주재하는 구미 등 일부 해외 미디어의 타케시마 상륙을 허가해, 한국 정부의 협력으로 4일에 현지를 취재했다.한국 정부의 편의는 타케시마의 영유를 국제적으로 어필 하는 목적이었다고 보여진다.


　워싱턴・포스트는 상륙 취재의 기사와 사진, 지도를 1면에 게재.섬에 체재하는 어부나 주재 경찰개구리 `의 이야기를 소개하고 있다.일본 측에도 배려해, 「한국으로부터의 방문은 일한의 국경을 넘는 외국 방문」로 하는 일본 외무성의 견해도 소개해「계쟁지」의 취급.뉴욕・타임즈도「일한의 과실」로서 상륙 기사를 게재했다.


　이것에 대해, 타케시마를 실효 지배하는 한국에서는, 「계쟁지」로서 보도된 것으로, 영유권 문제는 존재하지 않는다고 하는 주장에 반해「타케시마 문제」를 국제적으로 홍보한 결과가 되어, 정부 비판이 강해지고 있다.


　연합 뉴스에 의하면, 5일에 행해진 한국 국회 외교 통상 통일 위원회의 감사에서는, 이명박 외교에 대해 비판이 올랐다.이 대통령의 8월 10일의 타케시마 상륙을 되풀이해,「치밀한 시나리오가 부재.독도가 영토 분쟁지라고 하는 것을 전세계에 알리는 결정적인 미스를 한」와 비난 하는 의원도 있었다.
